Meredith #5 Diversion
The Meredith #5 Diversion installed a new rock grade control diversion structure at the existing location. The new rock structure permanently elevates the streambed to an elevation that provides irrigation delivery without the need for a temporary check. Irrigation delivery is provided utilizing a submerged inlet intake structure capable of satisfying the water right during very shallow flow conditions. Fish passage is provided by an unobstructed, in-channel, flow over the rock grade control diversion structure (alluvial passage). The new fish passage meets current fish passage criteria for all life stages under all flow conditions.
