2024 Wildfire Impacts

Grant SWCD is seeking information from private landowners regarding impacts to their properties from the recent wildfires.  This information will be provided to partners Grant County Emergency Management, Monument SWCD, North Fork John Day Watershed Council, South Fork John Day Watershed Council as well as the local Natural Resrouce Conservation Service and Farm Service Agency offices to help seek / develop funds and programs that best fit landowner needs.  

Summaries of the information collected will also be provided to the Grant County Court, members of the Oregon Legislature, Oregon Office of Emergency Management and Oregon State University to inform local and state policy-makers.  Future funding assistance may result from this effort.
