Wildfire Risk Reduction Projects

Grant SWCD is soliciting from qualified Contractors for the removal and disposal of Western Juniper and Blackthorn shrubs  from multiple properties within the city limits of John Day, Canyon City, Prairie City and Monument, OR.  The purpose of this effort is to reduce wildfire fuels around structures and critical public infrastructure.

Each City will be bid out as individual projects; interested Contractors may bid on one or all if they chose.

Bid tours are being offered for each project.   These tours are voluntary; however the District strongly encourages prospective bidders attend.  The tours will be held between January 7th and 9th; please review the Invitation to Bid for the time, date and meeting location for each project.  

Bids close at 3:00 PM PST on Friday, January 17, 2025.
